English language learners (ELLs) make up a substantial amount of the population here in the United States and all around the world. Most ELLs are children, usually in kindergarten to fifth grade. For them, reading, writing, and speaking are crucial as they learn English.
Yet many school districts are in need of a proper educational system to support these students.
This is why I have created this non-profit organization. On the news page, you will find articles containing problems and solutions concerning ELLs, all backed up by studies. On the book drives page, you can stay informed about upcoming book drives and learn about the results of prior events. On the classes page, you can view previous classes that Literacy for ELL has held as well as determine if you want to sign up to become a tutor.
